After having experienced a lunch and a relaxing afternoon, a fresh vegetable soup and some country bread sustains you as you look to the west and watch the sun begin to set. Dinner is simple and early, to help you to stay in tune with the flow of the day and night, so that as sun sets, you are ready to appreciate the evening colours and watch the birds roost. You feel refreshed after washing in the simple shower where a gas geyser gives you warm water, and as you feel the cool breeze gently pass by your cheek, you let the feeling of peace wash over you.





















A fire can be made to crackle merrily and warm your skin, and to bring along a drowsiness to entice you to a good sleep. Your bed is in the Hall, an open space ready to accommodate people who stay the night, and you lift up the blankets and snuggle in. You can see the stars through an open window, the breeze ruffling the curtains and teasing your eyes closed.

















Early morning, and the birds wake you up with their calls and songs. You stretch your arms above your head and get ready for a lovely day ahead. The sun is reaching up and warming the land, greeting a new day.






















You refresh your face with a splash of cold water and take a short walk outside, letting the sun alight softly on your face. Back in the Hall, you can wake up your whole body by rebounding gently, expand your limbs and lungs and moving your blood and energy. You listen in contentment to the birds singing in the new day, and you feel all your cells tingling as they get their rejuvenating and healthy exercise.


Breakfast is spread upon a table that the morning suns rays gently touch upon. They light up the simple meal of a fruit salad, green smoothie, and fruit and nut balls. Having partaken of the delicious breakfast you take a little walk, and finally find a nice tree to sit under and be in silence.


























Having this time to yourself, to be in connection with your Self with no distractions, you come up with thoughts and questions that need some answers. You think of a pertinent question and walk to the labyrinth. With your question in mind, you start walking.


Slowly winding round and round. The time of introspection and focus, the peace, the spiraling of the labyrinth; they give you an insight into your question, and you leave the labyrinth satisfied that you can implement the ideas and answers you gained from your focused walk into your life for the better.



























The rest of the morning is spent quietly reading a book, watching the birds and being creative with some of the art supplies that are available for use in the Hall. Your creativity is expressed without reservation, for you do not judge yourself, and no one else looks upon your creations with anything other than their own freedom of expression.




















Lunch is once again shared under the shade of a Combretum tree. The dappled shade tints the colours of the fresh lasagne, buckwheat pasta and banana cake. Content with the meal, you go to relax in a chair under a tree.


The afternoon brings about a relaxing and comforting as you take your mat and go to the Big Rock to relax or have a Qigong session. Relaxed from the beauty of your surroundings, your body moves smoothly and effortlessly though different postures that stretch out your limbs and invigorate your energy.




















An afternoon walk brings you to a cosy spot where you spend a while watching the birds and the clouds drift by. Your book remains by your side, as you are content with just being. Being quietly with your Self and with the nature that is around you. Taking a big breath, you feel yourself at peace.




















Evening calls and you wash up with sun heated water, letting the water flow down your body and bringing you wholly in the moment. The sun is above the horizon, letting its last rays colour the trees with an orange glow. Your whole body sings in response to your lovely day, a day of peace and reflection, creativity and movement.


Dinner awaits you, with another night of restful sleep, and you smile in anticipation to the coming moments.



Note: Please note that the local bar plays “music” every Friday, Saturday and most Sunday nights. Even though their sound does disturb the peace a bit, it is a part of the life of the village, so do your best to let it be part of the background and not interfere in your enjoyment of the evening. They do stop on time, meaning 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and 10:00 pm on Sunday. Some weekends are blissfully quiet, and some are not. Let us hope that your time will coincide with a quiet weekend!
